Trying something a little different for me. I finally had the chance to use the macro extensions for my lenses. There were hundreds of bees flying around and my lens was about 2 inches away. I feel fortunate I didn't get stung. On this one I like how you can see the pollen on the abdomen.

Glistening Rays

This was taken in the very early morning along a path through wildflowers. There was dense fog this morning that had just burned off but left behind left behind a layer of very thick dew. The sun's rays lit up the water. It reminded me of the way a thick layer of ice in the winter glistens in the sun. This is best viewed large.
